Driving Directions:
US-2 from Escanaba east to junction 513 at Hiawatha National Forest.
Follow 513 south to Peninsula Point, light is in point.

Peninsula Point was established in 1866, and is a square structure made of brick. The light is open to the public. With the opening of the Minneapolis Shoal Light, there was no longer a need for Peninsula Point's guidance. It was then deactivated in 1936.
