Lighthouse is Approximately 32 miles from Charleviox. It can be
reached by private or charter boat.

The Lansing Shoal was activated in 1928, and stands on top of a huge concrete crib. Its fresnel lens was replaced in 1985 by a 190mm plastic lens fully automated by solar power. Due to the loction of the light, it is accessed best by large boat or viewed by aircraft.
