Driving Directions:
I-75 to Exit 29, head east on Gibraltar Rd. Then take West Jefferson
norh to bridge that connects to Grosse Isle (Grosse Isle Parkway).
Take Grosse Isle Parkway to other side of island, then take right
on E River Rd. Take N to lighthouse.

The Grosse Isle Lighthouse was established in 1906, and stands 43 feet tall. Although this lighthouse is no longer active to guide boaters along the shore, it has been preserved by the Grosse Isle Historical Society. The society sponsors one tour of the light each fall.
